The state of California has set an ambitious goal of 75% recycling, composting and source reduction to minimize the solid waste that goes to landfills. To build broad public awareness around recycling in San Francisco, this campaign included billboards, bus shelter posters as well as print ads and direct mail. Oversize vehicle wraps on trucks communicated the message at the street level to provide high-impact, low-cost messaging throughout the City.
